Alex Myers’s passion for storytelling and making people laugh has been a driving force throughout his life. From his earliest performances for friends and family, he discovered that acting was his true calling and has pursued the craft with dedication ever since.
His first taste of the stage came in Year Two, where he played both Pinocchio and Toad in The Wind in the Willows. More recently, he achieved a major milestone with his ensemble role in King Lear for Auckland Theatre Company (2023), performing for more than 10,000 people across the season and gaining valuable exposure in the New Zealand theatre scene.
Alex relishes every aspect of performance, from the energy of live theatre to the challenges of screen work. He is particularly drawn to Action, Sci-Fi, and Drama, eager to embrace roles that push his boundaries and expand his craft. Beyond stage and screen, he is also enthusiastic about voice-over, especially within the gaming industry, where his love for character voices and storytelling finds a natural home.
