As one of RBA Management’s emerging talents, George Hiku brings a vibrant blend of performance skills and stage experience to the agency. George began performing at just 10 years old as lead vocalist for his group in the Tauranga Choir Festival, sparking a lifelong passion for acting and singing.
He went on to train at the prestigious Associated Studios in Australia, where he earned a Foundation Certificate in Music Theatre. His standout stage performance to date was as Henry in Next to Normal at The Court Theatre, under the direction of internationally acclaimed musical theatre performer Hayden Tee.
Other notable credits include Galileo in We Will Rock You (Tauranga Musical Theatre), Ensemble in Shrek: The Musical (Saudi Arabia tour, Showcase Entertainment), and Swing in Madagascar: The Musical (NZ/AU tour, GMG Productions). George was also the recent runner-up in the nationwide search for a new presenter on What Now, New Zealand’s longest-running children’s TV show.
Based in Tauranga, George is now expanding into screen work, with aspirations to act internationally. He possesses a broad skill set that includes a Baritenor vocal range (F2–Eb5, belt to A5), proficiency in Hip Hop, Kapa Haka, Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz dance styles, and the ability to play guitar, bass, and ukulele.
