Kelvin Taylor is a SAG-AFTRA and Equity New Zealand actor, celebrated for his versatile talents both on and off the screen.
Describing himself as “an amalgamation of the comedic timing of Jim Carrey, the showmanship of Johnny Carson, the range of Denzel Washington, the heart of Matthew McConaughey, and the leading-man coolness of Hugh Jackman and Johnny Depp,” Kelvin embodies a rare combination of charisma and depth.
Kelvin’s screen journey began in New Zealand with a serendipitous visit to Pacific Renaissance Studios, where he was promptly enrolled in stunt bootcamp for STARZ’s hit series Spartacus (2010–2013). His role as George Kerr in the International Emmy-nominated film The Golden Hour solidified his passion for acting. He became a familiar face to New Zealand audiences with his appearance on the Warner Brothers Discovery NZ reality show Come Dine With Me New Zealand (TV3). His other notable credits include Power Rangers, Ash vs Evil Dead, and The Shannara Chronicles.
