Grounded presence. Resonant voice. Dynamic range. From stage beast to screen soul — he brings it all.
A versatile actor and singer with a rich bass-baritone voice, Josh Cramond brings energy, precision and musicality to every performance. A graduate of Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, Josh first discovered his passion for storytelling through high-school improv and musical theatre – and has been performing ever since.
He has appeared on stage across Aotearoa and Australia, including The Merchant of Venice with the Pop-Up Globe’s King’s Company on its 2018 Sydney tour, and an Australasian tour of The Gruffalo, in which he played both the Narrator and the Gruffalo himself. Other theatre credits include Spring Awakening at BATS Theatre, Into the Woods, Macbeth, and Woyzeck. Earlier roles such as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast and an Elvis-inspired Pharaoh in Jesus Christ Superstar showcased his commanding presence and vocal flair.
