Sofie is a New Zealand–based actor with a strong foundation across stage and screen. A graduate of Unitec’s Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts (Acting for Screen and Theatre), she brings a distinctive physical presence and thoughtful versatility to her work, comfortably inhabiting roles that range from cool-headed authority figures to warm, intelligent leads and quietly eccentric characters.
Sofie’s screen work includes vocal performance for the feature film We Were Dangerous (Piki Films), as well as short film roles such as Caroline in Sticky Pages. Her theatre credits span contemporary and classical texts, including The Shape of Things, Romeo and Juliet, The Laramie Project, The Inspector General, and The Pillowman, reflecting both range and a strong commitment to ensemble storytelling.
