Sapphire Glynn’s passion for acting was ignited by a Shakespearean play she attended as a child, particularly drawn to the role of Ophelia. This early fascination led her to memorise Hamlet’s To Be or Not To Be soliloquy rewarded by drama lessons, marking the start of her acting career.

She made her stage debut at age 9 as 'Teddy' in a drama school production, but her significant public breakthrough came in 2017 with the role of 'Ladybird' in James and the Giant Peach at TheatreWorks Birkenhead. Sapphire is now best known for her acclaimed portrayal of Regan in King Lear.

A notable highlight in her career was attending a week-long workshop in Australia, where she was mentored on her craft and grew a deep passion for film work.

Sapphire aspires to a career that blends stage and screen performances, driven by her love for acting. Outside of the theatre, she enhances her artistry through writing, art, and photography, and has refined her skills at Trinity College’s Speech and Drama School. Her commitment to ocean swimming also supports her physical and mental resilience, traits vital for success in acting.

Sapphire Glynn’s journey reflects a blend of inspiration, dedication, and continual growth, as she continues to make a meaningful impact in theatre and film.
