One of our most versatile and consistent actors, James is as much at home in the world of Shortland Street as in the works of William Shakespeare. He has come a long way since playing a ‘cheesy native’ in Peter Jackson’s King Kong!
Proud of his Maori and Cook Islands heritage, James is just as comfortable on stage as in front of the camera. He has been seen in Shortland Street, in pioneering short films, web series and music videos, and trod the boards at Auckland Theatre Company and the hugely innovative Pop Up Globe theatre project.
