Christi Karklins’ passion for acting began in childhood, sparked by a memorable experience at a local church craft day where she asked for prayers to become an actor. Despite initial fears, she pursued her dream by auditioning and studying at South Seas.
Her earliest performance memory dates back to an acting workshop at age 11, where she overcame shyness to participate. Recently, Christi starred in two online interactive videos for Auckland Transport and SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving), marking significant milestones in her career.
Looking forward, Christi dreams of landing a role in a sitcom, inspired by shows like The Office and Modern Family, and hopes to play a lead in a film or series based on a true story.
Outside of acting, Christi is passionate about art and music. She plays the guitar, draws, dances salsa, and enjoys comedy and improvisation, often creating rich, imaginative characters. Her diverse interests enhance her acting and creative expression.
Christi Karklins’ journey reflects a lifelong dedication to acting, a drive for emotional depth in performance, and a rich array of artistic talents.
