From stage intensity to screen subtlety – a talent with range.
Natasha Ross brings decades of stage experience and on-camera work to her craft, drawing on her Kai Tahu heritage and a professional background in the caring professions to create emotionally resonant, grounded performances. While not fluent in Te Reo Māori, she has strong pronunciation, and her cultural connection informs both her artistry and presence. She discovered her passion for acting early, training with the Hawkes Bay Youth Drama School where she was mentored by influential artists including Bruno Lawrence, and has since become a seasoned performer with a body of work spanning theatre, film, and teaching.
Best known for her stage roles, Natasha was most recently seen in the Auckland Fringe production of The Hand that Locks the Holding Pen by playwright Faith Ward, where her performance was noted for its depth and authenticity. With 16 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Mental Health and Operating Theatres, along with leadership roles in Early Childhood Education, Event Management, and Drama Teaching, she brings rare insight into human behaviour and crisis dynamics that enriches her portrayals of complex characters.
Natasha thrives in collaborative creative environments and is increasingly expanding her screen career, eager to take on challenging roles in New Zealand and internationally.
