Mark R. Black is a Canadian actor and stunt performer of Indigenous North American (Iroquois) heritage, currently building strong momentum following his work in The Wrecking Crew. Standing at 6’5”, he brings a commanding physical presence alongside a developing, character-first approach to screen performance.
Originally a professional ice hockey player, Mark transitioned into acting with the same discipline and focus that defined his athletic career. He has trained in Method acting, theatre, and screen technique, and continues to strengthen his emotional range and dialogue delivery through ongoing scene and character work with respected industry coaches, including Latham Gaines and Laura Interval.
