From the moment Cherilyn Doherty took Kacie Stetson's acting classes, she felt her inner creative being expand, fostering a deep empathy for humanity as she worked with various characters. This experience was both creatively exhilarating and a profound practice in non-judgment, leading to her passionate commitment to the craft.

Cherilyn's first public performance occurred during high school, where she participated in a stage challenge that marked the beginning of her journey on stage. As she continued to explore her craft, she delved into sound, voice, and experimental art, integrating these elements into her acting.

What has given Cherilyn the most satisfaction in her career so far is the opportunity to work with her acting instrument—body, heart, mind, and soul. Experiencing breakthroughs in herself and witnessing other actors do the same has created a powerful energy that enhances the stories being told.

Looking to the future, Cherilyn's ambitions include collaborating with masterful writers, directors, producers, and cast members to animate stories that highlight humanity's capacity to learn from the past and make new choices for the future.

In addition to her acting pursuits, Cherilyn is passionate about composing ambient and experimental storytelling folk music, as well as attuning her body with wild plant medicine and sound. Cherilyn Doherty is dedicated to weaving together these diverse interests, aiming to connect with audiences in meaningful and transformative ways.
