Adam Christopher is a highly regarded actor, singer and live entertainer based in Auckland, New Zealand. His passion for acting began when he first appeared on stage at the age of 8, and now with over 20 years’ of experience in numerous professional productions, he is ready for any and all opportunities available.
One of Adam’s career highlights is his performance in the NZ original work ‘K’RD Strip – A Place to Stand’, a Māori contemporary dance musical which toured to Edinburgh International Fringe Festival in 2015. He has participated in no less than 20 professional children’s theatre productions, which included two nationwide tours with Capital E. Some of Adam’s other career highlights include his involvement in an award winning fringe play, ‘The Incredible and Glorious World according to The Fitzroys’; roles in the original NZ musical ‘State Highway 48’; and the experience of creating his own character during an intensive workshop which led to Adam’s character becoming the lead MC in the NZ original production ‘City of One Hundred Lovers’. Adam also has numerous guest roles on television and has collaborated in many professional theatre workshops and promotional projects all across New Zealand, since 2006.
Adam also has experience directing, having directed the relevant and important ‘Testostrogen’ which deals with pressing themes of transgenderism acceptance. Alongside this, he has extensive experience in the world of Drag entertainment, and also in singing, where he performed in the male choir for the Adele concert in 2017.
